Augusto M. Seabra, graduated sociologist is a critic and programmer. Works as a critic since 1977, was one of the founders of the Portuguese national newspaper “Público”, in which maintains a weekly column. He was part of the jury in film festivals such as Cannes (official selection, 1993), San Sebastian, Turin; Thessaloniki or Taipei. He was President of the Cultural Association Saldanha and program director of the Monumental 1995 and 1996 festivals. Also scheduled several cycles of cinema, being associated programmer responsible for the section “Riscos” at Doclisboa since 2007. Curated for the OrquestrUtópica concerts “Metropolis-Music and politics” and “BMC-NYC, Black Mountain College-New York City”. Collaborated with the choreographers Miguel Pereira, Vera Mantero and Tiago Guedes, and was musical consultant of the film “E o tempo passa” by Alberto Seixas Santos.
