Degree in Anthropology at the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Lisbon.
In 2008 she funded VAGAR – Cultural Association in which she’s artistic director.
O Desejo Ignorante her last creation in collaboration with Aniol Busquets and Tiago Hespanha has premiered at Teatro Maria Matos in Lisbon at 11th and 12th November 2011 in the frame of Festival Temps d’Images.
Trompe le Monde her third work, in co-creation with Nuno Lucas, has premiered in Culturgest in January 2011. She presented her second work Morning Sun in May 2009 at Tempo Teatro de Portimão. Morning Sun is presented in Italy, France and Portugal. In 2006, she received the first prize of the contest Jovens Artistas Jovens with her solo dos joelhos para baixo. The solo has been shown in Italy, France, Portugal and Tunisia. She has performed and collaborated with choreographers João Fiadeiro, Cláudia Dias and Olga Mesa and with the visual artist Marta Dell’Angelo. In 2010 she is dramaturgical assistant in the solo “UM SÓ” by Karenina de los Santos, Alkantara Festival.
She’s started her training in the Performing Arts at Chapitô (1999/02) in Lisbon. She has then followed to study dance attending various courses from which she stands out ex.e.r.ce 05 at CCN Montpellier (FR), the basic course of Movement Analysis at IAM (Lisbon, 2004), course of contemporary dance and movement research at SNDO (Amsterdam, 2003), course of Creation and Research in Choreography from Fórum-Dança (Lisbon, 2002) and the continuous formation at C.E.M. (Lisbon, 2001/04). She studied voice at the Regional Conservatory of Baixo Alentejo and she has undertaken further formation in vocal composition with Francisco D’Orey, Catherine Rey, Meredith Monk and Lucia Lemos.
