Irina Raskin is born 1988 in Moscow. Growing up in Düsseldorf, she completed as well here her Bachelor of Arts in Media- and Culturalstudies in 2012. Since 2009 she works among other things as a freelancer author in radio and online journalism, where she reports primarily about contemporary art and pop-music. She is co-founder of the do-it-yourself magazine for art and culture “kunststoff”. After supporting the production of Alexandra Waierstall’s “Mapping the Wind” within an internship at tanzhaus nrw in 2011 a collaboration with the choreographer occurred.
